Johan Lescrauwaet, who cultivated Christmas trees in Jabbeke since 1990, shifted focus in 2019 to viticulture. The first 1,000 vines were planted, and the hobby quickly grew into a family project, transforming Bloemen Lescrauwaet into the wine estate Lescrauwaet.

By 2023, the vineyard expanded to 5 hectares, growing varieties like Chardonnay, Auxerrois, and Pinot Noir. The focus is on quality, with carefully selected clones to create complex, aromatic wines.

In late 2023, their first wines were released, and a tasting room is set to open in 2025. Current wines include Cuvée Blanc, Chardonnay, and Cuvée Noir.
